Hi Xavier, you’re doing some special designs... I would call them illumitad line designs in a dark atmosphere which really bring some emotions to your mind... do you agree? 

I'm agree with your vision of my drawing, i have made many black and white photography and with this art the light is very essential, I suppose it had influence my drawings i try to draw the light in the picture. For the subject I like when my drawings have something dangerous but sweet and fascinating too, it's like a punch with a sugar taste

How did you get into that technique? Is there a name for that kind of illustration? Is it an illustration? 

The color in my draw appeared after when i saw the similarity with scratchcard that i made when i was a child, color is below a black surface that is removed.I think we can compare my illustrations with this technique.

Is your lifestyle as dark as the stuff you’re doing? I mean ... are you pretty melancholic or is living where you live like the designs you’re doing or do you just like that style because of the look? 

I am a graphic designer in architectural agency and my daily work is the opposite of my personal work. It's like a playground for me. Many of my designs are inspired by SF or horror movie and violence pictures.

Do you listen to music when you’re doing those images? What kind of? 

When i work for artwork album, i listen the music's artist. The music can influence the work, at the moment i listening flying lotus, ratatat, depht affect, the shape of broad minds, mike milosh...

Have you ever transferred those computer designs into paining or other kind of artist techniques? 

I have less time actually to make spray art but i really want testing this technique on a wall with friends, dedicace to Shame and Chacal.

How come that you got involved in doing a tee for ZOO YORK? 

Kimou art director for Zoo have saw my work on the web and asked me if i would make a drawing for the new zoo collection!
damn yes! I'm a skater and i was crazy when kimou contacted me.

When I look at the other designs you did compared to the ZY tee, I can see a difference in them. Normally you’re pretty much in things that are nature... like an ape, a meduse, a landscape and even a scene in the wood. The only human made thing is the machine gun. Is it easy to make the switch from nature to things like guns or cityscape like the one on the tee? What kind of things do you prefer? 

the skateboard is attached to the street and Zoo York is a brand who have a strong link with the city of NY. Nature have something disturbing and sometimes looks like human. The animals that I design are almost become abstract because of the colors. they looks more like chimeras

Does living in France affect your kind of work? Do you want to go somewhere else in the future? 

I don t think living in france influence my work, art is global. I realy want to go NYC and many other places

What do you think of the style Zoo York stuff is normally like? 

Zoo York seems to work with different designers, the style is very varied, I like the happening with the cockroach zooyork in the business district in NY.
